Low-Flush.

For small bathrooms or spaces that are just short on space, I highly recommend this excellent two-piece toilet from Toto. This toilet doesn’t take up much space, and being a two-piece model, is easy to clean.

It even comes with a comfortable and curvy shape, which makes sitting and standing up somewhat easier. The toilet’s height is around 17.5”, so it is taller than many other toilets of the same class.

Pros:

  • Comfortable
  • Easy to install
  • Exceptional flushing ability

Cons:

  • Price
  • TIGHT! TIGHT! TIGHT!

This elongated toilet from Toto is one of the best and providing value for the price. It ships in a much smaller box than most toilets, so if you can, try to order online. It comes with bolts and washers for the top and the bottom of the bowl. It also comes with two handles to raise and lower the seat.

This toilet is quiet and cleans up well. If you're tall, you'll appreciate the extra space between the seat and the tank. The height is set for a standard high seat, but there are adjustments if you want to bring it lower.

The only thing that kept me from rating this toilet with 5 stars is the flush. I've read other reviews that praised this toilet as having superior flushing power, but I didn't find that. It is a nice one-piece toilet that looks and feels like a luxury toilet.

Elongated toilets are becoming more and more common as homeowners build new homes and remodel existing ones, as they offer all the benefits of comfort and convenience.

These benefits are most notable when you do your research and know what to look for. Some might prefer a higher bowl, or a certain style of ceramic. Others might want to go with something that allows for more storage space.

The toilet featured here is a 1.6-gallon, 23.6-inch continual-flush gravity-feed model that features AquaPiston technology, meaning that it has a much higher flush flow rate than conventional gravity-feed toilets.

This toilet comes with a right height and 28.5-inch bowl. For a fairly small price tag, you get a strong and durable toilet with a one-piece design that is easy to clean and maintain. The toilet flushes well with either a half-flush or a full-flush, and it also comes with a forward-mounted valve for easier cleaning.

Pros:

  • Great for reducing water bills
  • Beautiful aesthetics with a smooth finish
  • Superior flushing technology, which is highly efficient
  • Revolutionary lever design
  • Made of durable materials

If you want to experience luxury and comfort in your own bathroom, then Kohler’s K-3817-0 Memoirs toilet is a great choice. Its height is ideal for taller individuals, and the elongated bowl and drain hole mean you’ll experience lesser clogging and less mess.

The AquaPiston Flush Technology is the highlight of this toilet, as it uses a pulse of water that doesn’t splash onto the bowl or floor as much as the traditional piston flushing system. The result is a quiet nod to Mother Nature, and you can ensure that your household’s water bills remain reasonable.

Kohler’s inventive lever design has a contact free piston, which prevents water from splashing onto your hands. This makes washing your hands a much more comfortable and hygienic experience.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Which toilet bowl shape is the most comfortable?

There is only one answer. It’s absolutely the elongated one, which is the same as the standard US toilet. Why? Well, you can see in the diagram that the length of the toilet is almost double that of the round and round/elongated toilers. As a result, you have more room to stretch out and relax while you are enjoying a pleasant and clean bowel movement.

However, people with physical limitations, such as bad knees and lower back pain, may actually require the round/elongated version of this toilet. This is because there is more room in the back and you can sit on the toilet without bending your knees. This position could help to reduce pressure on the knees and the lower back. Just keep in mind that you won't have as much room to move around.

Which toilet is better round or elongated?

The fact is, there is no overall best toilet shape; it just depends on your personal needs. Round toilets are best suited for smaller bathrooms and require only 30 inches of space for installation, while elongated toilets are best suited for larger bathrooms and require 36 inches for installation. In terms of seating comfort, elongated toilets offer more room between your body and the toilet bowl. That is why round toilets are better for homes with children and pets. It’s safer and more convenient to sit on a smaller surface.

Are elongated toilet seats more comfortable?

Though elongated toilet seats may not feel any more comfortable than round seats, they do have some clear advantages over traditional models. First, they're generally easier to clean since they can be washed with a quick wipe down. Secondly, they're more economical since the size of the bowl is smaller and the water required to flush is less. Finally, elongated toilet seats are more ergonomically correct and sanitary.

You may not notice the difference if all you do is sit on the toilet, but if you stand while using the toilet (and many do!) the increased distance between the seat and the toilet is more comfortable and ergonomic than a shorter standard bowl. That can also mean that if you're using the toilet to change your baby's diaper or clean up spilled milk, you have more space to work with.

What toilet do plumbers recommend?

We asked a few plumbers which toilet they recommend customers buy to get great flushing power and long-lasting use. These suggestions are for Americans; if you reside in another country, ask a friend how their toilets work. These toilets are very similar to each other. The primary difference is price.

Generally speaking, the best toilets overall are the ones that have a single-piece design, elongated bowl, and no bidet function. Not everyone will agree with us; some people prefer a toilet with a storage tank that can be removed. Regardless of your preference, all of these toilets are larger than the average toilet in a home, which makes them great for taller and heavier people. However, if you live in a home with a small space, a tank-less toilet will probably be too large.

Conclusion

There are two main styles of toilet that you can choose from. The elongated toilet is popular in most households, and the round toilet is mainly used in commercial spaces. In this guide, we have reviewed top elongated toilets that you can easily buy online or from a local store. We have reviewed how they stack up against each other to give you some pointers on which one might be better value for money.
